Welcome to Conundrum Crates - a premium, weekly, subscription-based produce box providing freshly picked, seasonal harvests from our North Texas farm to your table.
Our Conundrum Crates farm share program is designed to connect you with the land, the seasons, and the hands that grow your food. Join us in celebrating and enjoying the bounty of North Texas while supporting sustainable agriculture in your backyard.
How the subscription works:
Enrollment in the subscription is for a full season (for example, our upcoming Fall season is 13 weeks from Sep 29 - Dec 22).
-
A $25 deposit secures your subscription, then applies to purchase packaging for your Crates (we are still finalizing packaging as we try out a couple of options in the first few weeks).
-
Once a week, you'll receive an email invitation to make changes or additions to your Crate.
-
Payment is made weekly by credit or ACH.
-
Pick up will be on the same day and location each week (this will be determined when you sign up)
-
Each season includes one optional "skip" week. If you will be out of town, you can choose to skip & will not be charged.
-
If you will be missing more than one week, you can choose to either donate your box for that week to a family in need via our partnership with FunkyTown Food Project OR have a friend or neighbor pick it up instead.
These policies help us balance offering flexibility for our customers, while also ensuring the program is successful so that we can continue to offer it in the future!
Why Join NOW?
Conundrum Farms is a modest-sized local farm, and we can only accommodate a limited number of full-time subscribers. To ensure that each subscriber receives the finest quality produce, hand-picked at peak freshness, we’re capping our subscriptions at 100 members. Once we reach full capacity, new subscriptions will only become available if a current subscriber cancels. At the start of each season we’ll begin a new subscription, with priority given to members who subscribed during the previous season.

How to Sign Up
Follow these steps to secure your Conundrum Crate subscription:
01
Register via LocalLine
LocalLine is the vendor hosting our online produce shop. Once you arrive at our storefront you can select the “Conundrum Crate Program – DEPOSIT” from the “Products” options and add that to your Cart.
03
Create Your Customer Account
After selecting a Pick Up Location, you will be asked to set up your new Customer account. This information will be used to help us to determine possible off-Farm pick up locations. You will then enter your credit information and pay for the $25 deposit. See below for details on the deposit
02
Choose Pick Up Location
Click on your cart to check out, you will then choose your Pick Up location. If you are able to pick up at Conundrum Farm, please select that option. If you are unable to pick up at the Farm, please select the Pick Up Location that would work best for you from our available options. At this time, off-Farm pickup locations are not guaranteed, please see notes below.
04
Finalizing Subscriptions
We will review registrations weekly and begin sending the official invitations to join the Conundrum Crate program and finalize your subscription. Your invitation will include a link to our online store to make your selections for your first Conundrum Crate!
A few more important nitty gritty details:
DEPOSIT: The $25 deposit first secures your subscription for the season (depending on delivery availability - see below), and then once your subscription is finalized it is applied to your account to pay for the packaging of your Crate (we are still finalizing packaging as we try out a couple of options in the first few weeks). One Crate will be filled with fresh produce each week and sent home with you, and you will return that second crate to us when you come to pick up the next one (to be filled again for you next week). This way, we won't need to use disposable packing such as plastic bags or cardboard boxes - keeping this operation more sustainable for us and for the earth!
PICKUP LOCATIONS: For this first season, we may need to prioritize subscribers who can pick up at the Farm to launch this program successfully. However, it is our intention to establish a few Fort Worth pickup locations. In order to do this, we need a minimum number of subscribers for each pickup location. We will be reviewing the list of subscribers requesting non-Farm pickup locations to determine the most convenient spots for the most people. If we are unable to accommodate a pick up location near you, you will be given an option to change your preference to pick up at the Farm, hold your place on the reservation list for when we are able to establish a pick up location near you, or get a refund of your deposit.
The good news - we already have several individuals and local businesses that are willing to host the pick up locations! If you have neighbors that are also interested in a Conundrum Crate Subscription, please have them register as well. This will increase the likelihood that we will be able to establish a pick up location near you!
